What is an idol anyway? Are they a singer ? A dancer ? A rapper ? A entertainer ? And let's not forget since this is korea, they have to be pretty/handsome. They also have to act a certain way, watch their weight, cant be caught dating, watch their facial expressions and body language as to not be called rude. Sometimes they even get boycotted when its not even their fault but their company's. Lets not forget that most of them are still teens who haven't reached 20 and some are in their early 20's but the minute they dont check one of those boxes you guys come for them. I understand for those who spent money to go to their concerts to be disappointed and angry because i know those tickets are expensive but i bet some of you'll dont even have the right to be angry because you'll just saw it on social media or youtube or saw them perform in some university which the school paid not you. Let's be real here you guys dont own them, you dont personally know them, you dont know how much the company takes care/support of them or how much they pay them. If you dont like there live performance then just dont buy those tickets, if their ticket sales goes down they'll do something about it. Go listen to their songs on UA-cam or spotify and if you cant even bear to listen to that go listen to some other genre songs.

Might be a hot take (but I don’t think it is) I feel like the companies are to blame. For example, SM has a very high requirement for live singing and they also provide training for their artists that is very substantial. On the other hand I’ve heard that, for example, Le Sserafim got almost no vocal training for years. I know artists should seek themselves to train but if the company doesn’t have an emphasis on it and you have to put your own money into training then I don’t think you’ll improve at all. So that explains why artists form certain companies debut even though they are terrible at singing and don’t progress at all no matter how many years since debut has passed. I also agree that industry is to blame as well. Since they don’t really care about an artist not being able to handle an encore stage.
